Comets Play to Scoreless Draw Against Santiago Canyon

SAN MARCOS, CA (9/9/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer earned its second straight result Tuesday night, battling Santiago Canyon College to a 0-0 draw at Minkoff Field.

The visiting Hawks pressed early, but the Comet defense stayed organized after settling in from the opening whistle. Palomar generated quality looks on set pieces throughout the night, but the finishing touch proved elusive as both sides were held off the board.

Goalkeeper Bruin Bailey, making his second straight start, stood tall in net and anchored a back line that has now limited opponents to just two goals over the past three matches.

The Comets (1-2-2) will return to action on Friday when they host El Camino College in another nonconference showdown.
