Men’s Volleyball Falls at Pierce, Heads to Antelope Valley on Friday

WOODLAND HILLS, CA (2/11/2026) -- Palomar men's volleyball dropped a straight-set decision at Los Angeles Pierce College on Wednesday night, falling 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.

The Brahmas maintained control throughout the match, using a balanced attack and strong serving to build early leads in each set. Palomar battled throughout but couldn't sustain a consistent run to shift momentum in its favor.

Offensively, Tyler Smith led the Comets with eight kills, while Paul Kozmiski added six and Aiden Gardiner contributed five. Setter PJ Sambrano directed the offense with 16 assists, and defensively Palomar recorded 21 digs as the back row worked to extend rallies and create transition opportunities.

Palomar now turns its focus to Friday night, traveling to face Antelope Valley College for a 6 p.m. first serve as the Comets look to get in the win column.
