Four Comets Earn All-PCAC Honors After Breakout 2025 Season
Following one of the strongest seasons in program history, Palomar College women's soccer was well represented on the All-PCAC teams with four Comets earning conference honors: sophomore Naomi Allen, and freshmen Lizzy Cook, Emma Gryn, and Eva Lopez.
The quartet played central roles in Palomar's 9–3–4 PCAC record, the program's best conference finish in more than two decades, and helped lead the Comets back to the postseason for the first time since 2004.
Naomi Allen – Forward
Allen was one of the most dangerous attacking players in the PCAC all season, finishing conference play with nine goals and five assists for a team-leading 23 points. She delivered two game-winners, converted all three penalty kicks, and posted a .600 shots-on-goal percentage. Allen's blend of pace, creativity, and composure in front of goal made her one of the true standouts of the 2025 campaign.
Lizzy Cook – Forward
Cook formed one half of Palomar's elite scoring duo, finishing with six goals and four assists in conference action. Her 16 points ranked among the top totals in the league, and her attacking efficiency was unmatched — she recorded 19 shots on goal, more than any other Comet, and scored multiple crucial goals in Palomar's late-season push up the standings.
Emma Gryn – Midfielder
The engine of the midfield, Gryn delivered one of the most balanced two-way seasons in the PCAC. She recorded three goals and six assists and her team-leading assist total highligts her role as Palomar's primary creator in the attacking third. Gryn also contributed defensively and logged some of the highest minutes on the roster as a fixture in the starting eleven.
Eva Lopez – Midfielder
Lopez was one of the Comets' most versatile and consistent contributors throughout conference play, finishing with two goals and four assists across 14 PCAC matches. Her technical ability in possession and her reliability in build-up play made her a key connector between Palomar's midfield and high-powered frontline.
Together, the four honorees formed the core of a Palomar team that earned 46 goals in PCAC play, allowed just 17, and produced one of the best conference seasons the program has ever posted.
