Wible and Timmons Represent Palomar at3C2A State Championships
SANTA ROSA, CA (5/3/2025) -- Palomar College was represented by two standout swimmers at the 2025 3C2A State Championships, held over the weekend, as Devyn Wible and Tianna Timmons capped off impressive seasons with strong showings against the best in the state.
Devyn Wible – 1650 Freestyle
Wible earned her state berth after a phenomenal performance at the PCAC Championships and made the most of the opportunity. She delivered a personal best time of 19:00.31 in the 1650-yard freestyle, good for a 9th place finish overall. Her strong pacing and consistent stroke carried her to one of the top individual finishes in recent program history.
Tianna Timmons – Multi-Event Success
Timmons qualified in three events and competed with grit across all of them. She placed 14th in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 19:36.21, followed by a standout performance in the 200 backstroke, where she posted a personal best 2:18.89 to finish 13th. She wrapped up her championship weekend with a 16th-place finish in the 400 IM, touching the wall in 5:07.22.
