MOORPARK, CA (11/19/2025) -- Palomar picked up its biggest win of the young season on Thursday night, powering past No. 20 Moorpark College 83–67 on the road. After a tight first half, the Comets broke things open late, outscoring the Raiders 44–29 in the second period to secure their fourth victory.
Isaiah Pomare continued his dominant stretch, posting a monster 24-point, 16-rebound double-double, controlling the glass and pacing the offense. Justin White added 13 points, while Jaidyn Norman matched him with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Off the bench, Benjie Nudo delivered another spark with 14 points, and Drew Pierce knocked down two threes to finish with six. Angel Ochoa contributed eight points and three assists, playing a steady hand at the point.
The Comets won the paint battle 48–26, held Moorpark to just 15.8% from three, and closed the game shooting 47.1% from the floor as a team.
With the win, Palomar (4–1) and Moorpark will now look ahead to their December 5 rematch at the Grossmont College Tournament. Before then, the Comets return home to host West Los Angeles College on Tuesday at 5 p.m. inside the Dome.
