CHULA VISTA, CA (9/30/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer continued conference play Tuesday night with a high-energy 3-3 draw against Southwestern College on the road.
The Comets came out firing as Jakub Kozlowski opened the scoring in the 19th minute off a feed from Artem Sydorenko. After the Jaguars equalized six minutes later, Palomar regained the lead just before halftime when Kozlowski struck again, this time assisted by Ismael Zavala, to make it 2-1 at the break.
Southwestern pulled level in the 55th minute, but the Comets responded in the 67th as Dylan Bissember finished a setup from Ibrahim Joubran to go back in front 3-2. The lead was short-lived, however, as the Jaguars tied it once more just a minute later, and both defenses held firm the rest of the way.
With the result, Palomar (3-3-3, 1-0-1 PCAC) remains unbeaten through their first two conference matches. The Comets now turn their attention to a Friday night home match against MiraCosta College at 6:30 p.m.
