No. 6 Palomar Cruises Past Antelope Valley at Mt. San Jacinto Crossover

SAN JACINTO, CA (11/7/2025) -- The No. 6-ranked Palomar women's basketball team rolled to its second straight win Friday afternoon, defeating Antelope Valley College 74–52 to close out the Mt. San Jacinto Crossover.

The Comets exploded out of the gate with 26 first-quarter points and followed it up with a 27-point second quarter to take a commanding halftime lead. Behind crisp ball movement and aggressive defense, Palomar built a 29-point cushion midway through the third and never looked back.

Luciana Aguilar led a balanced attack with 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Kylee Trujillo added 14 points and seven boards. Kami Gillis continued her hot shooting off the bench, hitting four three-pointers for 14 points, and Kailani Flournoy notched another double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. ReeRee Davis chipped in eight points and four assists, helping the Comets rack up 21 assists on 27 made field goals.

Palomar's defense was once again suffocating, forcing 27 turnovers that led to 28 points, and the Comets dominated the boards with a 48–38 rebounding edge.

Now 2–1 on the young season, Palomar returns home on Friday night to host Allan Hancock College in the Comet Crossover at 6 p.m. as they look to extend their early-season win streak.
