Five Comets Earn All-Conference Honors; Marshall Named Coach of the Year
SAN MARCOS, CA (2/23/2026) 0- After capturing a share of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship for the fifth consecutive season, the Palomar women's basketball team was heavily represented on the 2026 All-Conference teams, highlighted by four First-Team selections and Coach of the Year honors for Leigh Marshall.
Leading the way on the First Team were Kylee Trujillo, Kailani Flournoy, ReeRee Davis, and Ivorii Seals, while Kami Gillis earned Second-Team recognition for her standout shooting season.
First-Team All-Conference
Seals anchored the Comets offensively, averaging a team-best 18.2 points per game in conference play while shooting 50% from the field. Seals added 5.0 rebounds per game, dished out 44 assists, and knocked down 15 three-pointers, finishing with 218 total points in league action.
Trujillo averaged 14.7 points per game, leading the team with 176 total conference points while contributing 29 steals and nine blocks. Trujillo also shot nearly 74% from the free-throw line and averaged over 22 minutes per contest.
Flournoy dominated the paint throughout conference play, averaging 13.7 rebounds per game — including 68 offensive boards — while shooting an efficient 56.9% from the field. Flournoy totaled 164 rebounds and 149 points in 12 conference games, consistently controlling the glass and setting the tone defensively.
Davis directed the Comet offense with 64 assists in conference action, averaging 10.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Davis also knocked down 17 three-pointers and shot nearly 76% from the free-throw line while helping Palomar average over 85 points per game in conference play.
Second-Team All-Conference
Gillis earned Second-Team honors after averaging 13.3 points per game and knocking down a conference-best 46 three-pointers. Gillis shot 84.2% from the free-throw line and stretched defenses all season with her perimeter shooting, totaling 160 points in league play.
Coach of the Year
Head coach Leigh Marshall was named PCAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Comets to an 11–1 conference record and a share of the conference title.
The honors reflect a complete team effort for a program that continues to set the standard in the PCAC. With five consecutive conference championships and momentum heading into the postseason, the Comets now turn their focus to playoff competition.
