EL CENTRO, CA (10/17/2025) -- Palomar women's soccer kept their momentum rolling Friday afternoon with a dominant 6-0 road victory over Imperial Valley College.
The Comets came out firing, scoring all six goals in the first half to put the match away early. Lizzy Cook opened the scoring and later added an assist, while Sophia Frederick, Taylor Devaney, Naomi Allen, Emma Gryn, and Mia Magana each found the back of the net in a balanced offensive showcase.
Devaney and Eva Lopez each finished with two assists, with additional setups from Gryn, Cook, and Magana as Palomar's attack overwhelmed the Imperial Valley defense.
Goalkeepers Nathalie Mancilla and Aida Lopez-Nunez combined for the shutout, with Lopez-Nunez recording a save in the second half to secure the clean sheet.
The win improves Palomar to 6-2-6 overall and 4-1-6 in PCAC play. The Comets will return home Friday to host San Diego Miramar College as they continue their push up the conference standings.
