No. 10 Comets Stay Perfect in PCAC Play

CHULA VISTA, CA (10/8/2025) -- The No. 10 ranked Palomar women's water polo team kept its winning streak rolling with a 16-3 victory over Southwestern College on Wednesday afternoon to remain unbeaten in PCAC play.

The Comets exploded out of the gate with seven goals in the opening quarter and never looked back. Mia Fick led the offensive onslaught with a season-high seven goals to go with two assists and five steals. McKynley McCulloch scored three goals and added two assists, while Keyanna Mucino also netted three with two assists.

Tessa Ferragamo contributed two goals and two assists, and Ruby Jones added a goal and an assist while helping anchor the defense with three steals. In the cage, Savannah Walker and Kaylin Mihelich combined for 17 saves to stifle the Jaguars' attack.

With the win, Palomar improves to 11-4 overall and 3-0 in PCAC play. The Comets will travel north this weekend to compete in the Ventura College Tournament.
