No. 25 Palomar Rolls Past LA Trade Tech, Advances to Championship vs. No. 19 San Diego City

EL CAJON, CA (12/6/2025) -- No. 25 Palomar punched its ticket to the Grossmont College Invitational championship game with a commanding 95–67 win over LA Trade Tech on Saturday night. The Comets controlled the game wire to wire, building a 16-point halftime lead and never looking back as they earned their third straight victory.

Isaiah Pomare continued his standout tournament play, dropping 25 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including four made threes, while adding six rebounds and five assists. Angel Ochoa was equally impactful, finishing with 22 points, three triples of his own, and five assists in one of his most efficient outings of the season.

Justin White added 16 points and five rebounds, providing consistent interior scoring, while Jaidyn Norman chipped in eight points and six boards.

For the second straight night, Tore-Andre Gray was a force everywhere on the floor, recording five points, 11 rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and two steals, setting the tone defensively and helping the Comets dominate the glass with a 45–35 rebounding advantage.

Palomar also shot 49.3% from the field and knocked down 12 threes, using a 52-point first half to create separation early. LA Trade Tech never cut the deficit to single digits after the break.

With the win, Palomar (7–3) advances to tomorrow's championship game at 5 p.m., where they will face conference foe No. 14 San Diego City College in a marquee matchup.
