Kozlowski, Joubran Lead Comets Past No. 14 San Diego City

SAN DIEGO, CA (10/10/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer continued its dominant run through PCAC play Friday afternoon, earning a 3-2 road win over No. 14 San Diego City College.

The Knights opened the scoring in the fifth minute, but the Comets found their rhythm midway through the first half. Jakub Kozlowski struck twice in an eight-minute span — both assisted by Dylan Bissember — to flip the match in Palomar's favor. After City equalized just before halftime, the Comets regrouped and took control out of the break.

In the 55th minute, Ibrahim Joubran netted what proved to be the game-winner off a setup from Kozlowski, who finished the day with two goals and an assist.

Goalkeeper Bruin Bailey anchored the back line with four saves as Palomar (6-3-3, 4-0-1 PCAC) extended its unbeaten streak to seven matches and held onto first place in the conference standings.

The Comets will return home Tuesday night to host San Diego Mesa College at 6 p.m.
