OCEANSIDE, CA (10/28/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer dropped a tough 3-0 result on the road Tuesday against rival MiraCosta College in the second round of PCAC play.
The Spartans capitalized early, taking a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute and doubling it before halftime. The Comets pressed forward in the second half but couldn't break through against a locked-in MiraCosta defense. A third goal in the 65th minute sealed the result.
Despite the setback, goalkeeper Amanueal Kidanemariam made several key saves to keep Palomar within striking distance for much of the match.
The Comets (9-5-3, 7-2-1 PCAC) will look to bounce back when they return home to face San Diego Miramar College on Friday afternoon.
