Kozlowski, Sanz Spark Comets to 4-1 Win Over Miramar

SAN MARCOS, CA (10/31/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer rebounded in convincing fashion Friday afternoon, defeating San Diego Miramar College 4-1 at Minkoff Field to keep pace atop the PCAC standings.

After falling behind early in the 14th minute, the Comets took control before halftime. Dylan Bissember tied the match in the 41st minute off a setup from Isaac Garcia, and four minutes later, Jakub Kozlowski finished a feed from Jeremiah Sanz to give Palomar the lead heading into the break.

Sanz added to the cushion just two minutes into the second half, scoring off a return assist from Kozlowski to make it 3-1. Kozlowski capped the win with a penalty kick in the 89th minute, his second goal of the day and team-leading 16th of the season.

Goalkeeper Bruin Bailey and the back line limited Miramar's attack to just one shot on goal as Palomar (10-5-3, 8-2-1 PCAC) remained firmly in the conference title hunt.

The Comets will host San Diego City College on Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
