SAN MARCOS, CA (11/14/2025) -- The No. 6-ranked Palomar women's basketball team put on a show in front of the home crowd Friday night, rolling past Allan Hancock College 93–42 on the opening night of the Comet Crossover at The Dome.
The Comets came out firing, erupting for 32 first-quarter points and never looking back. Palomar led 57–15 at halftime and showcased its full arsenal — high-pressure defense, transition scoring, and balanced offense — in one of its most complete performances of the young season.
Ivorii Seals led the charge with a near double-double, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Luciana Aguilar and Kylee Trujillo each added 17 points. Kami Gillis knocked down five threes for 15 points, and Myla Jones chipped in nine points off the bench. ReeRee Davis orchestrated the attack with nine assists as the Comets piled up 27 assists on 37 made field goals.
Palomar's defense was relentless, forcing 30 turnovers that led to 40 points, while holding the Bulldogs to just 25.5% shooting from the field. The Comets dominated the paint 40–16 and ran the floor for 16 fast-break points in another statement win.
Now 3–1 on the season, Palomar will be back in action Saturday night when they face East Los Angeles College at 6 p.m. to close out the Comet Crossover.
