No. 6 Palomar Rolls Past East Los Angeles to Close Out Comet Crossover

SAN MARCOS, CA (11/15/2025) -- The No. 6-ranked Palomar Comets capped off a dominant weekend inside The Dome, defeating East Los Angeles College 92–59 on Saturday night to sweep their Comet Crossover event.

The Comets controlled the game from the opening tip, putting up 22 first-quarter points before exploding for 26 more in the second to take a 48–28 halftime lead. Palomar continued to pour it on in the second half with a 25-point third quarter, showcasing the offensive balance and pace that has fueled their early-season surge.

Kylee Trujillo delivered a breakout performance, erupting for 30 points, six steals, and four rebounds in just 28 minutes. Ivorii Seals added 20 points and five assists, while Kailani Flournoy recorded 11 points and nine boards. Luciana Aguilar chipped in 13 points, and ReeRee Davis added seven points and five rebounds as every Palomar starter contributed across the board.

Palomar dominated the paint 56–20, turned 31 East LA turnovers into 31 points, and pushed the tempo for 12 fast-break points. The Comets also shot an efficient 46.7% from the field, continuing their upward offensive trajectory.

Now sitting at 4–1, Palomar will hit the road next weekend as they travel to West Los Angeles College on Saturday, November 22.
