Palomar Earns Road Win at LA Harbor to Close December
WILMINGTON, CA (12/29/2025) -- The Palomar women's basketball team wrapped up the calendar year with a strong road performance, defeating LA Harbor College 89–74 on Monday night to bounce back from the Moorpark Crossover and regain momentum heading into January.
Palomar set the tone early with 28 first-quarter points and never relinquished control, maintaining steady offensive pressure throughout all four quarters. The Comets shot efficiently, moved the ball well, and consistently attacked the paint to keep LA Harbor from mounting a serious run.
Ivorii Seals delivered a standout performance, pouring in 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting while going a perfect 7-for-7 at the free-throw line. Kami Gillis added 18 points, knocking down six three-pointers, and Kylee Trujillo chipped in 17 points and five assists.
Kailani Flournoy dominated the glass with 16 rebounds to go along with eight points, while ReeRee Davis orchestrated the offense with 11 assists, helping Palomar pile up 30 assists on 34 made field goals. The Comets also held a 51–41 rebounding edge and outscored LA Harbor 23–6 in points off turnovers, key factors in the road victory.
Palomar will close out its nonconference schedule on Saturday, January 3, when the Comets face Mt. San Antonio College before turning their attention to conference play.
