Palomar Earns Road Victory at Imperial Valley

IMPERIAL, CA (2/11/2026) -- The Palomar women's basketball team continued its strong conference run Wednesday evening, defeating Imperial Valley College 61–19 on the road to secure another Pacific Coast Athletic Conference victory.

Palomar wasted no time taking control, racing out to a 32–8 first-quarter lead and building a commanding advantage before halftime. The Comets' defensive pressure set the tone early, forcing turnovers and limiting Imperial Valley's offensive opportunities throughout the night.

Kami Gillis led the Comets in scoring with 13 points, knocking down three three-pointers, while Kylee Trujillo added 11 points. Ivorii Seals contributed 10 points and three steals, and Kailani Flournoy dominated the glass with 14 rebounds to go along with six points.

Palomar controlled the boards 49–0 and generated consistent second-chance opportunities, finishing with 19 offensive rebounds. The Comets also recorded 15 assists and 12 steals, showcasing their depth and defensive intensity in the road win.

With the victory, Palomar continues to build momentum in conference play and will now prepare for another road matchup next week at San Diego City College.
