COSTA MESA, CA (9/16/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer bounced back in a big way Tuesday, defeating Orange Coast College 4-0 on the road in Costa Mesa.
The Comets struck early when Ismael Zavala put away a finish in the 10th minute, set up by Nikola Ilic. Coming out of halftime, Jakub Kozlowski went to work, scoring twice in a 15-minute span — the first unassisted in the 52nd minute and the second off a ball from Colin Goss in the 67th.
Palomar capped the night in the 80th minute as Ilic added his name to the scoresheet, slotting home a setup from Dylan Bissember.
The Comet back line and goalkeeper Amanueal Kidanemariam handled the rest, recording their first clean sheet of the season while turning away 13 Orange Coast shots.
With the victory, Palomar improves to 2-3-2 and carries momentum into their upcoming matches.
