SAN MARCOS, CA (10/21/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer bounced back in dominant fashion Tuesday afternoon, rolling past Imperial Valley College 6-2 at Minkoff Field.
After falling behind in the 22nd minute, Jakub Kozlowski answered immediately with a direct free kick to level the score. The Comets seized momentum from there, with Felix Hamm scoring off a setup from Isaac Garcia and Ismael Zavala burying a penalty kick to make it 3-1 at halftime.
Imperial Valley pulled one back just before the break, but Palomar erupted again in the second half. Kozlowski scored his second of the match in the 62nd minute off a combination from Hamm and Dylan Bissember, and Nikola Ilic closed the night with back-to-back goals — the first assisted by Jonatan Maelicke and Ibrahim Joubran, and the second set up by Bissember.
Goalkeeper Amanueal Kidanemariam earned the win as the Comets (8-4-3, 6-1-1 PCAC) stayed in the thick of the conference title race.
