Comets Roll to 5-0 Shutout at Mesa

SAN DIEGO, CA (11/7/2025) -- Palomar men's soccer turned in one of its most complete performances of the season Friday afternoon, cruising to a 5-0 road win over San Diego Mesa College.

The Comets exploded for all five goals in the first half, led by Felix Hamm with two goals and two assists. Artem Sydorenko opened the scoring in the fifth minute off a setup from Isaac Garcia and Hamm, and Hamm followed with a goal of his own just five minutes later with help from Jakub Kozlowski and Dylan Bissember.

Kozlowski added a goal in the 19th minute off a feed from Ismael Zavala, and Zavala returned the favor eight minutes later, finishing a pass from Hamm to make it 4-0. Hamm capped the first-half barrage in the 42nd minute with his second of the day, assisted by Kozlowski.

Goalkeeper Amanueal Kidanemariam earned the clean sheet as Palomar (11-6-3, 9-3-1 PCAC) picked up its fourth shutout of the season.

The Comets will return home Tuesday night to host Cuyamaca College at 6 p.m. for Sophomore Night and the regular season finale.
