Palomar's back row once again proved steady, anchored by libero Kiana Merrill, who led the team with 15 digs. Emma Bambe was a force on both sides of the ball, finishing with eight kills, 13 digs, and two aces. Sierra Schoenwald chipped in six kills and added two blocks.

From the service line, the Comets were sharp, totaling seven aces, including two apiece from Johnson and Bambe.

The win capped a strong first week on their home floor, with Palomar posting back-to-back sweeps over Golden West and Santa Ana. Across the two matches, the Comets racked up 98 kills and showed their depth with multiple attackers leading the charge.
